    RRR crossed the 600-crore mark at the global box office and is the biggest blockbuster post the pandemic in India. The two Telugu stars who lead the film, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR have found a place in the hearts of the Hindi speaking audience and there’s no doubt that it would be raining offers for them from Bollywood after the spectacle that is RRR.

    However, did you know that Jr. NTR once during the promotions of the film RRR showed interest in doing s sequel to Aamir Khan’s Dangal?

    It happened so that when Jr. NTR visited the Kapil Sharma Show with Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and S.S. Rajamouli to promote RRR the comedian host asked the actor about gaining weight for the film. It was revealed that the actor gained 9 kgs. To play his character in RRR in 18 months.

    It was all in jest that Kapil recommended that if Tarak needed to gain weight for another project he should visit Punjab and eat sumptuous meals there like tandoori kulcha with white butter and lassi. At first the actor told Kapil, “Mera agla project Dangal ka remake toh nahi hai.”

    Then as the conversation and the jokes carried on, Jr. NTR asked Kapil, “Can I play Aamir Khan in Dangal 2?” and agreed to take him up on his proposition of eating all the famous food to Punjab to gain weight.

    Interestingly, several weeks after this episode of The Kapil Sharma Show aired, Jr. NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt promoted the film in Delhi along with Aamir Khan. The Bollywood superstar was also seen shaking a leg with Ram and NTR at the song Natu Natu, learing the hook step from them.

    In just 5 days of its release RRR has Rs. 611 crores globally with over Rs. 100 crores coming from the Hindi speaking belt.
