ZWIGATO teaser: Netizens in awe of Kapil Sharma's serious avatar in this Nandita Das directorial, call it 'exemplary'

The teaser of the much-awaited Nandita Das directorial ZWIGATO is finally out. The movie stars comedian Kapil Sharma in his first ever serious role with Shahana Goswami playing his wife. The film is a take on the trials and tribulations of a food delivery driver.

The teaser begins with a discussion between Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami who play a couple belonging to the lower middle-class strata of society. From their discussion, it is clear that they are struggling financially, especially after the COVID-19 lockdown. Shahana’s character has gotten a new job as a cleaning lady which will also give her a decent remuneration. However, her husband is against her working.

Kapil Sharma’s character who is a food delivery driver by profession is shown to be unhappy with his wife taking up the cleaning lady job and getting a higher salary than him. The couple has a heated discussion over the same but ultimately Kapil agrees to his wife working since they also have the expenditures of their house rent, their children, and the male protagonist’s mother to tend to. They couldn’t stop hailing the pitch-perfect casting along with the hard-hitting reality-based subject of the film.
