Michael Fassbender’s Steve Jobs Role Like Hamlet x 2: Kate Winslet

Danny Boyle is bringing up a biopic based on the life of controversial Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and actress Kate Winselt, who is also a part of the project, essaying the role of Jobs’ confidant Joanna Hoffman says that that for Michael Fassbender, who is playing Steve Jobs in the flick, the role was like Hamlet x 2. “Every scene in this film was abnormally long for a movie. The film script itself was 182 pages, so for Michael Fassbender, that’s pretty much like Hamlet times two”, said Kate Winslet.

Michael Fassbender, on the other side, has revealed that he was skeptical about playing Jobs on the big screen. “The first thing I said to Danny when I met him was like, ‘Well you know, I don’t really look anything like this guy. And Danny was like, ‘Well, that’s not what I’m interested in”, said Fassbender.

Seth Rogen will be seen playing the role of Steve Wozniak in the flick. Talking about his role, Rogen said, “The thing with Sorkin’s dialogue is, if it’s 1 percent off — how you’re doing it, the rhythm of it — the whole thing is dogsh. But when it finally clicks into place, it’s perfect, and it’s as though you’re just two people having a conversation”.
