Aamir Khan may soon return to direction

In a good news to the fans of Bollywood’sMr. PerfectionistAamir Khan, theTaare Zameen Parfilmmaker will soon return to direction with a dream project. The superstar told PTI, "I have a story that I have chosen and hope to direct. But right now I have responsibility as an actor, plus I have (TV show)Satyamev Jayate season 2". Aamir added, "The script is written by someone else. I have told the writer it (direction) will take time. I don't know when I would direct next. As I havePeekay,Dhoom 3andSatyameva Jayaate 2in hand. I might produce it as well," he added.

In the meantime, reports are coming that producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, who have recently teamed up with Aamir forTalaashafter2001 blockbusterDil Chahta Hai,want to co-produce many more projects in the near future. Ritesh says, "It is always interesting to work with Aamir. We are very happy to team up with him after 11 years and this association has been fantastic. We have achieved what we had set out to do and that is very satisfying. In the past 11 years, we have all grown up. 11 years back we were completely raw. In fact, we are even thinking of collaborating on may more projects". He added, "It need not necessarily have Aamir or Farhan in the film. We want to give a chance to new directors and producers. In fact, I was just telling Aamir the other day that we should work more often. We share a healthy relationship and he was also of the same view so the minute we get a good script that we think needs backing, we will start work."
