Aamir Khan To Be Replaced In The Sequel Of ‘Sarfarosh’?

Sorry fans, Aamir Khan, who starred in 1999 film ‘Sarfarosh’ is no more a part of the sequel to the film. Earlier, rumours were rife that Aamir might feature in the second instalment. But now, it looks like, the makers are zeroing on in roping a young actor.

As per sources, “The makers are looking for a younger star to act in the sequel. The film has a good enough budget and therefore needs a star to back it. A newcomer won’t do. Once the actor is locked in, it will go on floors soon”.

The original film starred Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Bendre, and Khan, who essayed the role of a police officer who cracks down on cross-border terrorism. This sequel will be helmed by John Mathew Matthan, who also directed the original film. If reports are anything to go by, ‘Sarfarosh’ sequel will have a very different storyline.
