    hough Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has made it clear in the very beginning that one TV serial cannot change the society, his highly-acclaimed reality show Satyamev Jayate has set the wheels in motion. First Rajasthan government launched a crack down on the medical facilities which were indulged in sex identification and illegal abortions and now Maharashtra government has decided to start selling generic medicines through all its hospitals. Not only this, but Minister of State of Health of Maharashtra government has also acknowledged Aamir Khan's initiative and said that he would call up Aamir to thank him personally for raising awareness against social evils. Aamir has said it earlier that he is only an entertainer and he is not on a mission to reform the society, but he is only trying in his own small way to make people aware of the social evils and want them to introspect. Aamirs close friend and superstar Salman Khan, who was in Dubai recently to launch his Being Human merchandise also praised the actor, saying, I am proud of Aamir. He is doing the best job through his show. Salman also tweeted after Aamir's latest episode on domestic violence, "Wah yaar Aamir Khan! 'Teeluu' ne toh kamaal kar dikha ya, yaar ab jisko hindi nahi aati vo zara pls isko translate karva lena, thank u." Sallu referred Aamir here by his Andaaz Apna Apna character name 'Teeluu'. According to recent reports, Rajya Sabha MP Shanta Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who heads the parliamentary standing committee on commerce, has also invited the actor for an interaction on the malpractices in the medical sector, which was exposed by Aamir Khan on one of the episodes.
