Aamir-Rajkumar Hiranis Peekay to hit theatres on next years Christmas

The next project of Bollywoods Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Peekay, will reportedly hit the screens on Christmas next year, according to reports. As the last film of the filmmaker, record-breaker 3 Idiots, was also released on the same day, Hirani wants to stick to his lucky date hoping to repeat the success of the film. Hiranis spokesperson also confirmed the news, saying, Yes, December 25, 2013 is the release date of Peekay. According to sources, Peekay, is a political satire in which Aamir plays the role of an alcoholic social crusader. The name of the film is kept Peekay because it sounds like the Hindi word for drunk. Shooting of the film will begin, once Aamir finishes with Talaash and Dhoom 3.
