Abhay Deol-Diana Penty Starrer 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi' Sequel On Cards?

Mudassar Aziz’s 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi' created waves with its screenings. However, the film which starred Abhay Deol and Diana Penty in the lead was critically acclaimed. The good news for fans is that director Mudassar Aziz is thinking of making a sequel to the comedy.

As per reports, Mudassar who had been busy penning a script for another movie for quite some time has reportedly put his script aside. Do you know why he did that? Well, we hear that Mudassar is keen on starting work on 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' sequel.

However, the director shared the idea with 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' producer, Aanand L Rai. The producer thinks that the idea is brilliant; he even pushed him to pursue it. Reportedly, a script is now in place and the film will go on floors soon. The sequel will have the same cast of 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi' including Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Jimmy Shergill and Piyush Mishra, but the interesting news is that, two more fresh characters will be introduced in this sequel.
