Abhay Deol Says, ‘If Film Doesn't Work, People Will Ask Me To Go Back’

The 40-year-old actor, Abhay Deol, has sky-scraping expectations from his upcoming movie, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’. It is a romantic comedy film, also featuring Diana Penty, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh in the lead roles. The film is set to hit the box office on August 19.

Abhay told reporters, "I guess, because there has been a long gap, some people are also saying this is going to be my comeback, in that regard it is extremely important." He added, "Because if people are saying it is a 'comeback' and even then it doesn't work, people will say 'go back'. So may be it is a lot heavier than before."

Abhay made his Bollywood debut in 2005 with Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Socha Na Tha’. He has delivered many exemplary performances in movies like ‘Dev.D’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Raanjhanaa’. But his 2014 release, ‘One By Two’, could not work well at the box office and it came to him as a setback.
