Abhishek Bachchan In Next Installment Of ‘Shootout’

The director of Jazbaa, Sanjay Gupta, during the promotions of the film, confirmed that he would cast Abhishek Bachchan in his next flick. In the third installment of the ‘Shootout’ franchise, Abhishek will be seen playing a pivotal role. Sanjay Gupta is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming flick ‘Kaabil’ which features Hrithik roshan and Yami Gautam.

The Guru star said in an interview, “I have liked the idea of Sanjay’s film. It’s an intense gangster drama. We are definitely working on that film. But the team is reworking the script at the moment. Sanjay, too, is busy with Kaabil and will direct this film only after that”.

Written by Sanjay Gupta, both ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ and ‘Shootout at Wadala’ were commercial hits. Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in ‘Housefull 3’ which also features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles. The flick was released on June 3.
