Actor Ajith's 56th film to be called Vedalam

Tamil actor Ajith Kumar's much-touted 56th film now has a name--Vedalam. The film is expected to hit the screens by Diwali this year, the makers have said. The producers announced the title and released the first-look poster of the film on Thursday.

Sporting a red kurta, short-cropped hair, metal bracelet, chain and rings, Ajith looks uber cool and his look is said to have been inspired from his own avatar from 2002 Tamil film Red.

According to a source from the film's unit, the title means someone unique and invincible.
