Actors Discuss Box Office Collections To Sound Cool: Neil Nitin Mukesh

Neil Nitin Mukesh has several box office hits under his belt but the actor doesn’t like to discuss a film’s business. In fact, the Wazir star says that the new age actors of the tinsel town are often seen discussing the business of cinema, which they have no clue about. According to the Johnny Gaddaar actor, they do so to “sound cool”.

“Now a days I hear so many young actors discussing business. Trust me, I am sure they have no idea of how the business of cinema works. They don’t know what the collections are like, but they just want to sound cool. Unfortunately, just to sound cool I won’t make any conversation”, the Jail actor told PTI.

Neil’s last release, Prem Ratan Dhyan Payo, might have been a huge success at the box office but the actor says that he isn’t bothered by how much business his films do. “I have never taken that pressure. I am an artist, I don’t want to dilute my craft by sitting and discussing Friday business and box office collections. If you want to come and discuss how beautifully written a story was, then I would love to do that. But if you come and tell me ‘This is a superhit film because it did a Friday business of 100-cr’, that doesn’t excite me at all. I keep myself far away from that conversation”, he added.
