Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s, upcoming project Jasmine, based on surrogacy drama has been put on hold. If rumors are to be believed, the actress has asked for changes in the script, before confirming the film. Jasmine’s story revolves around a surrogate mother and bond with her child.

Producer Shree Narayan Singh says “Things were going downhill from the start — actors were announced before the script was ready. Then Siddharth-Garima got busy with Batti Gul Meter Chalu [that Singh has directed]. As a result, Jasmine kept getting pushed. The film is not happening in the near future."

Meanwhile, several buzzes also suggest that Karan Johar's Good News is based on a similar subject. Adding to it, “This subject can be approached from multiple angles” says Singh. Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan and expected to be seen soon in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun opposite hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
