Ajay Devgan To Play Lead In Oppam Hindi Remake

Reprising the character of Mollywood megastar Mohanlal in Drishyam, Ajay Devgan is all set to play the man again. This time it will be Oppam, which would be directed by original director Priyadarshan. The flick will be released with the same name in the later part of 2017.

Interestingly, the director approached Akshay Kumar first, but due to his pack schedule for next two years, the Khiladi had to turn down the offer. Thus, the famous filmmaker went to the Golmaal star. It is said that Ajay loved the script and agreed to work on the project immediately.

Even, Ajay is looking for a strong movie to make up for the home production Shivaay that failed massively at the box office. However, the Himmatwala star is working on Baadshaho, which also has Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’ Cruz, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal. It is being directed by Milan Luthria and is scheduled for September 1, 2017 release.
