    Nearly a decade later since Ajay Devgn won his second National Award for The Legend of Bhagat Singh, the star believes that the new generation writers in Bollywood are not penning scripts like ‘Zakhm’ anymore. He feels the kind of flavour a movie like Zakhm possessed should have been explored more. “I haven’t heard a great script like Zakhm since then”, says the national award winner in an interview to a leading website.

    The Gangaajal actor strongly feels that movies need to be more entertaining. He appreciated Prakash jha’s style of movie making, “Gangaajal is also very entertaining! That is Prakash Jha’s knack of picking up a realistic idea and making it very engaging and entertaining” said Ajay. He believes that filmmakers otherwise pick up real ideas and often make it boring like a documentary.

    Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, Zakhm released in 1998 and left a hard hitting impact all over owing to the sensitive theme it had and won him his first National Award. The actor at present is wrapping up Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns where he shares screen with Kareena Kapoor. The film is expected to release on 15th August. As for the filmmakers, they must listen to what Ajay’s trying to convey, who knows if he’s eyeing yet another National Award.
