Ajay remaking his classic debut ‘Phool Aur Kaante’

So we might again get a chance to watch the famous full split ride on two bikes stunt that Ajay Devgn performed in his debut film. Only this time, there might be some other actor. Yes, Ajay Devgn is planning to remake his superhit debut film Phool Aur Kaante with some newcomers in it.

The actor told that he has plans to get the 1991 blockbuster being put to screen again, with a fresh treatment and some newcomers. Talking about it, Ajay confirmed, “I am planning to remake Phool Aur Kaante. We have been planning this for a while now. Let’s see how things fall into place.” When asked if he would also star in the film in any role, the actor said “I won’t be there in that film I will cast new comers in it.” Directed by Kuku Kohli, Phool Aur Kaante was a huge hit when released in 1991. It starred Ajay, Madhu and Amrish Puri in lead roles. The famous bike stunt that Ajay performed in his introductory scene not only went on to become an iconic picture of cinema but also set new standards.

Also talking about his next directorial project Shivaay, Ajay told that it’s an action drama. “Shivay is a fresh film altogether in fact it’s a modern film and not a remake of any film. It’s a drama action kind of a film. I will start shooting for the film from Feb 2015. Basically all the actors in that film are foreign actors and there is one new girl in it,” he told. His Action Jackson is ready for release this Friday that will test his fate at the box office.
