Akshara Haasan Didn’t Promote Her Film ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’ For This Reason

Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah and Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan's ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’ has hit the theatres today but isn’t receiving pleasant reviews. Well, considering that Akshara was missing from promotional activities for the flick, it seems like the actress had foreseen the movie’s failure to impress the audience. If recent media reports are anything to go by, Akshara didn’t involve in the film’s promotion with other team members because she was quite unhappy with the final product.

A report on bollywoodlife.com claim that the actress was not satisfied with how her role was presented in the final product. Reportedly, she was also trying to wash her hands off the project. Well, when the lead actress is herself not interested in her own film, how can we expect the audience to give it a thumbs up. After Shamitabh (2015), this is Akshara’s second movie. The actress will next be seen in a Tamil film titled ‘Vivegam’ opposite Ajith Kumar.

All we wish is may Akshara’s Tamil debut brings along luck for her acting career. On a related note, ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’ has been directed by Manish Harishankar. The family entertainer has been bankrolled by TP Aggarwal and it also stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Saurabh Shukla, Sanjay Mishra, Suhasini Mulay, Ravi Kishan and Darshan Jariwala in pivotal roles.
