Akshay Kumar Reveals New Film, Padman!

Akshay Kumar has always been selective about the movies he wants to be in. He is among the few actors who fit in every genre. Last year, the actor was seen in three movies and all the three were super hits. Keeping up his this spirit, the actor has revealed the list of movies that he will be featuring in, in 2017.

The Airlift actor announced his four films for 2017. While, we knew about three of his films earlier, Akshay gave his fans a treat with the announcement of his new project, Padman. With the announcement of Padman, the actor is all set to break stereotypes in a country where menstruation is still a taboo.

Helmed by R Balki, the story is about a man who started making sanitary napkins at low cost for the women in villages. The film will be bankrolled by the actor’s wife and writer-columnist Twinkle Khanna under Mrs Funnybones Movies. Well, it has made us excited and we can’t wait to see it on screens.
