Akshay Kumar shares first poster of Toilet Ek Prem Katha

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared the first poster of his upcoming film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha late Thursday.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film has Bhumi Pednekar paired opposite Akshay. This is for the first time Akshay will share the screen space with the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actor.

Akshay and Bhumi as dressed as groom and bride on the poster that hails a cleaner India.

“Pleased to share, @ToiletTheFilm an unusual love story will be with you on 11th Aug, 2017. Tayyar ho jayye Swachch Azaadi ke liye!,” Akshay tweeted along with the poster.

The film went on the floors in Barsana near Mathura in November 2016. The authenticity of real locations of rural India and the hinterland provides the milieu to the story which borrows its soul from the villages of India. The shooting venues include Barsana and Nandgaon in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal.

Toilet- Ek Prem Katha, a unique love story will see editor Shree Narayan Singh making his directorial debut. The film releases worldwide on August 11. It will clash with Imtiaz Ali’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
