Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has been termed as a ‘Superstar’ by the Indian film fraternity for over a decade. This has been possible because of the Khiladi’s constant movie releases in every two or three months, most of which have been ‘good-doers’ at the box-office. Unlike the other actors of his league, Akshay has opted for the route in which he acts in movies that are family entertainers and contain a social message.

Moreover, the Baby star is said to have been always open to signing up movies helmed by young directors. The actor has been undoubtedly professional and consistent regarding his acting career, which has evidently helped the actor to get over his unsuccessful flicks and move on to the next project. On being asked about his simplicity, the actor was quoted as saying, “I have only one job in life and that is to make films and take care of my family”.

The Airlift star further added, “Even when I was living in Chandni Chowk, we were 22 people living in a one-bedroom house and were happy. I try to be fit and work out regularly. I eat good and avoid meetha as much as possible. One should always try to live a simple life”. Akshay’s latest movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, which is about the issue of open defecation in the country, has struck the theatres today.
