Breaking News: Akshay Kumar's Padman Postponed Will NOT Clash With Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat
Bollywood was busy preparing for the first big clash of 2018 where Pamaavat was finally seeing the light of day on 25th January this Republic Day weekend and was all set to clash with Akshay Kumar ’s social drama PadMan at the box office. But while everyone was busy weighing the odds which film will win the clash, the makers of PadMan have pushed the release date to 9th of February.

The film based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham will now clash with Aiyaari again as the later had pushed its date ahead after Pamaavat’s arrival. Kartik Aryan’s Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety will also release on 9th of February. Pamaavat starring Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Sing and Shahid Kapoor will now be a solo release this Republic Day weekend.
The dates for Padman were pushed after Sanjay Leela Bhansali apparently requested the makers to avoid the clash and take their dates forward.
