Akshay Unveils First Look Poster of Rustom

After Airlift, actor Akshay Kumar is all set to win the audience’s heart with a sharp and edgy role in the upcoming flick, Rustom. Just a few days back the actor had released his first look from the movie and garnered great responses. Now he has another gift for his fans. The first poster from the thriller is out. Akshay who is playing a naval officer in the film took to twitter to share the poster of Rustom.

The romantic thriller also stars actresses Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. Rustom is set in the 50’s era and has been penned down by Pandey and Vipul Rawal. If sources are to be believed, the movie is a murder mystery, based on the life of naval officer, Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati. It is known that the officer killed his wife’s boyfriend by firing three shots.

Reportedly, the shooting for Tinu Desai directorial started on February 8. Rustom’s musical score has been done by Ankit Tiwari and Santosh Thundiyil is behind the cinematography. The movie is a Neeraj Pandey production and is slated for an August 12 release.
