Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur For The Fault In Our Stars Remake?

Impressing many in the trailer of OK Jaanu, Aditya Roy Kapoor may have bagged a role in an iconic flick. If reports are to believed, Karan Johar’s ambitious project, which would be Hindi remake of Hollywood hit, The Fault In Our Stars has been offered to the Aashiqui 2 star.  

“Alia was always the first choice for the film. In fact, the project had been planned with her in mind. Now, impressed with Aditya’s performance in OK Jaanu, the production house has approached him for the male lead. If everything goes as planned, the film should take off around June July 2017,” revealed a source.

Earlier, Homi Adjania had confirmed in 2014, when he said, “Yes, I have been asked to make a Hindi adaptation of the best-selling book The Fault In Our Stars. As of now, it’s being scripted and only after I lock the draft will we finalise the cast and decide when to shoot it.” Well, looks like the right time has come and one can only wait for the official confirmation from the makers.
