    The budding star, Alia Bhatt has no chance to fail in Bollywood as her career is settled as a singer, in case she falls short as an actress. The 20-year-old Alia has crooned a song for her upcoming flick Highway and she comments that, “I am not a singer… I think I am a bathroom singer. When I was asked to sing I was excited and thought of trying it (singing) out. A R Rahman sir was very patient with me. If I fail as an actress, I will become a singer.”

    She continued talking about her inexperience in singing, “When I was recording with Rahman sir, I messed up a few times but that is ok…it happens. I did not know anything about singing…I did not know how to sustain my breath, but later on I learnt with the help of Rahman sir.” Alia, who made her acting debut with Karan Johar's Student of the Year, has received acclaims for her acting skills and now her singing talent has also been explored.

    Highway, directed and written by Imtiaz Ali, is co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie features Randeep Hooda opposite Alia in the lead role. Highway made under Window Seat Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will be distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. The same releasing on February 21 is made with the budget of Rs. 40 crore. Alia is right now into two more ventures titled 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
