Alia Bhatt To Star Opposite Ranbir Kapoor In Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon

Finally, the wait is over for the movie buffs who have been dreaming for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to be paired up opposite one another. Tinsel town is abuzz with reports that the duo has confirmed to work together in Ayan Mukerji’s helmed superhero flick Dragon. Rumours are flying thick and high that Amitabh Bachchan may also play a pivotal role in the film which will be shot in London.

Confirming the same, the Shaandaar actress said, “Yes, I am doing Ayan’s film with Ranbir. We begin at the end of the year”. Reportedly, both Alia and Ranbir have been waiting for someone to cast them together in a film. In fact, the Tamasha actor was once spotted requesting Ayan to make a film starring both of them in lead roles.

Dragon was initially expected to release in February this year, however nothing has been said about the new release date of the film.  According to reports, Ayan has already planned two sequels to the movie. It will be his third film with Ranbir after Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Desimartini wishes the three of them all the best for their forthcoming venture.
