Alok “Babuji” Nath welcomes 58th sanskari morning in his life!

B-town’s Babuji has just turned a year older. Yes, we are talking about our very own sanskari Alok Nath who turns 58 today. The veteran actor started his career in acting with Ramesh Sippy's television series, Buniyaad. He has appeared in many movies and portrayed supporting roles mostly as a father. He has acted in many blockbusters like Taal, Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Vivah and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! Though he has played villainous roles in Bol Radha Bol, Vinashak – Destroyer and Shadyantra, the actor’s ‘babuji’ avatar remains everybody’s favourite!

The senior actor trends in social networking websites with jokes and memes based on his `sanskari` nature. However, the actor never complained and always enjoyed the jokes which were based on his character. Talking about it, the actor says, "My film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ was being shown on TV last week.. In the film, there was a scene where I am saying something about family values. Someone just took it and made a joke about it on the Internet and it's been doing rounds since then."

Following the trend, the actor (@aloknath) himself decided to enter the Twitter world. He joined the networking website with a message, "Pranaam Twitter world!
