Amitabh Bachchan not to star in Zanjeer remake

Lakhia tweeted, "It would have been an honor for us to have the India's most iconic actor in the film but Amith won't be doing the cameo role in 'Zanjeer'.” The film is also being shot in Telugu version which will be titledToofan. The film has got troubled actor Sanjay Dutt on board for dubbing his role and the film is all set for a blockbuster summer release. In the Telugu version, the character played by Sanjay Dutt will be reprised by Sri Hari.
