Amitabh Bachchan Roped In For Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Dragon

Ayan Mukerji is all set to work on his next superhero film, Dragon. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role and Alia Bhatt as the female lead. Not much has been revealed about the film, but we do know that the Ranbir is all set to play his role. Now, reports have it that Amitabh Bachchan has come on board for Ayan’s dream project.

Mumbai Mirror revealed that Big B has been roped in to play a significant role in Dragon. However, he will commence the shooting in the middle of this year after he wraps up the shoot of Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan. Fans must be wondering what role Amitabh will essay in the biopic. He might essay the role of Ranbir’s father in the film, or play the supervillain whom Dragon has to fight.

However, the name of the movie, Dragon is a very unique name for a superhero flick. Talking about the title of the film, Ayan had said, “The boy has some mystical connection with fire. Fire is the symbol of power so, I called it Dragon. Let’s see. I am not 100 percent sure about the title, but I like something about it.” One more thing that has been disclosed about the film is that Dragon has shades of grey in his character.
