    Amitabh Bachchan Writes A Poem To Explain Why He Hid His Face While Leaving The Lilavati Hospital!

    Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan , who was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital on Friday evening for a routine check-up and hounded by the media on his way back, was spotted hiding his face with a knit hat as he left the hospital. Explaining the reason behind it, Big B has penned down a poem and posted the original and a translated version on his blog.

    In the poem, Bachchan says he understands that the photographers need his pictures to continue their work and it is just part of their profession. However, he adds that the flashes may act hazardous at times, which is why he decided to protect his eyes with a hat.

    “Yes , your ‘excellencies’ I do go to hospitals, this practice have I kept alive from birth. Was not this the place where they heard my first cry at birth? This was the place where was welcomed my existence of life, Amitabh writes in the translated version.

    Amitabh was briefly admitted to Lilavati Hospital Friday evening after he complained of pain in his lower back. “He came to hospital for pain in lumbar (lower back) region. He was given injections and discharged,” a hospital source told PTI.

    Just a few hours before going to the hospital, Amitabh had shared the first teaser of his upcoming film with Rishi Kapoor - 102 Not Out. Amitabh plays a 102-year-old father to Rishi in the film directed by Umesh Shukla. He is also working on Vijay Krishna Acharya ’s Thugs of Hindostan in which he will be seen with Aamir Khan , Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
