Anil Kapoor Takes A Funny Dig At Anupam Kher

Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher are known as one of the great pillars of the Indian movie industry during the 1990s. The two stars were not in talking terms some years ago, which was resolved after some time.

The reason behind their fallout was that Anupam Kher was starring in the movie Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara at the same time when Anil Kapoor was bankrolling the movie Gandhi-My Father which was having the same context as that of Kher starrer movie. Recently, Anupam Kher has bagged a role in an American television series ‘Bellevue’, where he will be portraying a character ‘Dr Anil Kapoor’. Anil Kapoor took to his Twitter handle to take a fun dig at Kher posting, “Want royalty for using my name @AnupamPKher or wait for a Legal notice. (sic)”.

This fun dig was carried forward by Anil’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor who posted, “You guys are taking your love for each other to another level your playing a character that shares the same name!”. Anil and Anupam have starred in many Bollywood movies together such as Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai , Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate.
