Ankit Gera: I never dated Roopal Tyagi; was in a serious relationship with Adaa Khan

TV actor Ankit Gera has been in news for his affairs with co-star Roopal Tyagi and actor Adaa Khan, so much so that he was rumoured to be dating both the ladies at the same time! However, the Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke actor clears the air, and says that he never dated Roopal, but was in love with Adaa.

“Whatever problem happened between me and Roopal is in the past. There was nothing from my side. I never dated her. While doing a show together we became friends, and while she kept saying things against me, I decided to respect our friendship and keep mum,” he says. Roopal had claimed that she was seeing Ankit and was hurt when she got to know that he was two-timing her with Adaa. Ankit says that he was indeed dating Adaa, but they broke up. “With Adaa it was a serious relationship. She is a very nice girl. I respect and cherish those four years we spent together. I wish her all the best in life.”

Talking about whether he is still in touch with his ex-girlfriends, he says, “Adaa and I share a common circle of friends. So we do meet each other at common gatherings and various parties. There are no hard feelings between us. We still talk to each other.”

At the moment, Ankit wants to concentrate on his career. On a lighter note he says that all successful men, be it actor Salman Khan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi or yoga guru Baba Ramdev, are single. “I am taking inspiration from them. On a serious note, I am not averse to a relationship. I want someone with whom I can walk hand-in-hand with. Even my family wants me to get married and have kids. I am waiting for love to happen to me now. Let’s see what’s in store for me in future,” he adds.
