Annu Kapoor thanks Amitabh Bachchan and Rajkumar Hirani for praising Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho

Veteran actor, Annu Kapoor has recently thanked the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan and the famous director, Rajkumar Hirani. The two had praised the trailer of Annu Kapoor’s upcoming release, Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho. The flick is set to release on June 26.

The Antakshari host said, “We are very grateful on behalf of production, director and personally from my side, to Amitabh Bachchan and Raju Hirani (Rajkumar Hirani), for endorsing and retweeting about the film”. Amitabh had tweeted, “T 1873 – Journalist recommends this : @foxstarhindi @vinodcapri @saritasing watch”. While Rajkumar Hirani wrote, “Just saw the trailer of Miss Tanakpur Haazir ho.http://bit.ly/MissTanakpurTrailer … interesting satire”.

The Vinod Kapri directorial is inspired by true events and deals with a love story set in Haryana. The flick also features Om Puri, Rahul Bagga, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra and Hrishitaa Bhatt in supporting roles. Talking about his role, Annu Kapoor said, “I play a wannabe politician, who struggles with broken English. He is muscle man, powerful man, and he is corrupt... With power, money and corruption, I try to twist and manipulate the system, administration, police and judiciary system".
