Another Box Office Clash for Shah Rukh Khan

It seems that superstar Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t seem to get enough of box office clashes. With speculations of his Raees clashing with Salman Khan’s Sultan next year, here comes a talk of Baadshah’s another clash. Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty stars SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is slated for a December release this year alongside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. 

The news was mentioned on the micro-blogging site Twitter by trade analyst Taran Adarsh saying, “#BajiraoMastani trailer is attached to #BajrangiBhaijaan. And, yes, it's releasing on 18 Dec 2015. Clashing with #Dilwale”. King Khan has previously worked with Bhansali in Devdas which was very successful. 

We witnessed a similar box office clash between SRK and Bhansali in the past as well when the former’s Om Shanti Om had released with the latter’s Saawariya. Allegedly, Sanjay is considering a change of date for the release of Bajirao Mastani due to lead actor Ranveer Singh’s shoulder injury and even because he desires to redo the Dola Re-like dance-off between the leading ladies of the film, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. We will now only have to wait and watch to see which movie proves to be a bigger hit.
