Anupam Kher ‘Denied’ Of Pakistani Visa

Out of the 18 delegates who applied for Pakistani Visa to attend Karachi Literary Festival, only Anupam Kher has been denied of it reportedly. However, Pakistan’s high commission claims that the actor hasn’t applied for it as they haven’t received his application as yet. On the other side, several other reports suggest that his application has been rejected by Pakistani officials citing security reasons.

The Bollywood actor is highly disappointed with the same. The Special 26 actor told ANI, “I am very sad and disappointed that out of 18 participants, 17 were given visa and I was denied”. He also wrote on Twitter, “Delay is the deadliest form of denial”.

On the other hand Pakistan’s high commission said that they haven’t received any application from the Bollywood actor as yet. “He has not submitted a visa application. Please check from him if he has any receipt”, the commission's spokesperson Manzoor Ali Memon.
