Kher said, "Yes, Samir Karnik hasn't paid me. I've filed a complaint with the actors' association. The response that I got from him through the association is that he wants more time. He has not communicated with me personally in the last six months. It's absolutely unprofessional. I've been kind to him by not depositing the cheque that he gave me. If I do that and it bounces, it will automatically become a police case”. The veteran actor added, “I've nothing against Samir as a person. I need my money desperately. He has given only 15-20% of the remuneration. I didChar Din Ki Chandniin good faith. My secretary, Bhaskar Shetty, worked on the film as the line producer. He passed away and when his family went to Samir, he said he didn't owe anything to Bhaskar. I'm going through the proper channel by approaching the association. In all these years of my career, I've never had any problem. I believe the association is strong enough to solve this. Only if the association says that it is not able to do so, will I go to court."
