Anurag Basu Feels Amitabh Bachchan Still Has A Child Within Him

Anurag Basu returned to the director’s chair with his latest film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ after a gap of around 5 years. The flick stars Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. While fans and critics gave mixed responses towards the film, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan liked it a lot. In fact, he took to Twitter and complimented Anurag for making a delightful movie.

“T 2486 - Just saw 'Jagga Jasoos' could not resist telling Anurag what a delightful, innovative, well executed film it was ; a joy to watch”, Big B tweeted. To this, the director replied, “Sir! I am amazed to see that CHILD within you is still alive,otherwise #JaggaJasoos wd hv failed to impress you”. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ reunites Ranbir and Anurag after the 2012 film ‘Barfi’.

Since its release on July 14, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has earned Rs. 37.22 crore in 4 days. In the film, Ranbir plays the role of Jagga, a school boy who is looking for his missing father. The cast also includes Saswata Chatterjee, Kiran Srinivas, Sayani Gupta and others.
