Anurag Kashyap co-produces Lunchbox with international biggies

Gangs of Wasseypurdirector Anurag Kashyap is all set to take Indian cinema to a higher level in the coming days with his next filmLunchbox.The filmmaker, who is a known name in the international movie forum, has finished his next film without much buzz and most importantly he has got some big international names likeLydia Pilcher and Cedomir Kolarin his producers’ list.

Lunchbox, directed by Ritesh Batra, stars Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Nimrat Kaur. The film is a collaborative project by Lydia Pilcher, producer ofThe Reluctant FundamentalistandNamesake, Cedomir Kolar, producer of Oscar winningNo Man's Landand Anurag Kashyap along with Dar Motion Pictures.

As Anurag talks about his film, "Lunchbox is afantasticscript. It brings together the best of talent of Irrfan and Nawazuddin." He adds further to it, "It is a love story set in Mumbai between a young housewife and a middle aged man. Is a story of a beautiful relationship triggered by a wrong delivery of one in 8 million lunch boxes that is delivered daily by Mumbai's now famous Dabbawallas.”
