Anushka And Virat Are Teaming Up For A Brand New Venture

Bollywood superstar, Anushka Sharma turned 30 yesterday and on this special occasion, she took this day as an opportunity to announce a project very close to her heart. The actress said on Twitter that she would soon be starting an animal shelter outside the city. She requested people to look after animals and mentioned that she is inspired by the Dalai Lama and wanted to do her bit to give 'fellow living beings equal rights, equal care and equal love’.

Her post reads, “I’m building an animal shelter just outside Mumbai — a home for those animals that are stranded, left to fend for themselves and have to brave harsh conditions. A home where they will be cared for, loved, protected and nurtured. This has been my calling for years now and my dream is finally coming true. I will seek your time, support and advice to make this home a place that looks after living beings with utmost care and compassion — all in due course of time”.

Moreover, the actress is currently accompanying husband Virat Kohli for the Indian Premier League (IPL). She has just wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming film ‘ Sui Dhaaga ’ starring Varun Dhawan . Notably, Virat also posted a picture of him and Anushka on Twitter and wrote, “Happy birthday, my love. The most positive and honest person I know. Love you”.
