Anushka Sharma Opposite Salman Khan In Sultan?

Salman Khan’s Sultan has been garnering all the attention for the casting of the lead actress. From Deepika Padukone to Kangana Ranaut, many names came under consideration, but things couldn’t work out. Now the rumours are rife that Anushka Sharma might star opposite the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor.

DNA quoted a source as saying, “Salman and Anushka have never been paired together in a film before. The film is supposed to start by November this year, by which time Anushka will complete the first schedule of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London. Ali Abbas Zafar is already into pre-production as he is in Los Angeles meeting Hollywood stunt/fight coordinator Larnell Stoval (Max Steel, Undisputed 3)”.

Deepika Padukone was approached for the role, but she had already signed Vijau Krishna Acharya’s upcoming project opposite Hrithik Roshan and hence couldn’t accept the offer. Next, Parineeti Chopra’s name was floating around, but soon the actress rubbished all the rumours. Kangana Ranaut was also offered the role but the Queen actress also rejected it because of prior commitments.
