Anushka Starts Shooting For Dutt Biopic

Anushka Sharma was recently in New York, not to attend IIFA awards, but to spend some romantic time with her boyfriend cricketer Virat Kohli. Her pictures with her man which Virat shared with everyone showed that both of them had a gala time. However, after spending a week in the city, the actress is back to work.

She has started shooting for The Sanjay Dutt biopic. Anushka even shared the picture on Instagram with makeup artists on her either sides. “Makeup drill !! Last 2 days of shoot left for Dutt Biopic in New York then back to Mumbai for #JabHarryMetSejal,” Anushka captioned the picture. Until now it was only Ranbir Kapoor who was seen shooting for the film.

Earlier, rumours were doing rounds that the 29-year-old will play journalist in the film, however, when asked from her she chose not disclose about her role. Talking about her role in the biopic, the Sultan actress said, “I am doing a cameo in the film but you all should be very excited for it. It will be a very good film. I am not playing his girlfriend, or a journalist, my character is the only fictional character in the film. It is not based on any living person that much I can tell.”

Directed by Rajkummar Hirani, the yet-to-be titled film will release in March next year. Earlier it was scheduled to hit the theatres in December this year, clashing with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Actress Sonam Kapoor will play Ranbir’s love interest in the film.  After completing shooting for the Dutt biopic, Anushka will return to Mumbai for promotion of Jab Harry Met Sejal with Shah Rukh Khan.
