In an interview to DNA, Arbaaz said, “I am dating, yes.” However, when the interviewer threw names at Khan, he denied being in a relationship with the women who have featured on his social media accounts in the past on year.

“Which one? If you are talking about Yellow, she is just a friend. She is somebody who I meet when I go to Goa. She owns a restaurant. There’s another girl — Alexandria. That’s my friend. I am dating, yes. But we are not... As of now, there is still a long way to go,” he added.

Asked if he could get back with Malaika, Arbaaz said in the interview, “I feel, if we had to get more time, we would have got back by now. The fact that we haven’t, means it is not meant to be. I wouldn’t want to speak for her.”

In March 2016, Arbaaz and Malaika announced that they are getting separated, but denied seeking divorce. “We are not separated because of a third random person, like there were stories of a friendship between a businessman and Malaika. Nor was it about his family disapproving of her lifestyle, nor does she feel that her husband is not financially stable. She is not crying on her brother-in-law Salman’s shoulders, asking him to help. They are our family, so please don’t talk about them like that. We deeply respect each other’s families, they had said in a statement issued to the media.
