Arbaaz Khan to play a deaf don in Abbas Mustan’s next with Kapil Sharma in lead

18 years after he debuted with a negative role in director Abbas-Mustan’s Daraar, Arbaaz Khan is back to work under the duo. In the next film that the duo is helming with comedian Kapil Sharma in the lead, Arbaaz Khan will be seen playing a deaf don. The actor was last seen in his directorial Dabangg 2.

Talking about his character in the film, the actor said, “Yes, I am doing Abbas Mastan’s film after 20 long years. I debuted in Bollywood with them and I am excited to work with them all over again. I have done a villainous role and got Filmfare award for my performance in Daraar but, this time they have given a different role! A don who is deaf, which is a very interesting character and different from what I have done in the past.” This is only the second time he would be working with Abbas-Mustan who launched him back in 1996 in a supremely impressive role. The negative role in Daraar had even won him the Filmfare award for best negative actor.

Arbaaz who’s relatively had a very shady career as far as acting is concerned told that it is not so easy to gain respect that easily and work wonders. “To get respect is important no matter in any field. I have worked for 20 years I have not met with the success what all other actors and my brother has met with. But, I am happy and as a producer and director, I have got respect on this field so I don’t feel bad,” he said. Arbaaz who’s now also a director is exploring ideas to come to the floor again. His next production Dolly Ki Doli is ready for release next month.
