Arijit Singh plans to turn director

From being behind the microphone to moving behind the camera, ace Bollywood singer Arijit Singh is taking a giant leap. According to reports, the Tum Hi Ho vocalist is planning to turn director for a film, which might possibly be produced by T-Series.

The singer who rose to fame with a series of blockbuster songs in the last couple of years is apparently keen on turning a filmmaker since he believes he acquires skills. Industry sources say that he might come onboard for a T-Series production and take the helm of affairs. While Arijit hasn’t really made an announcement about it, it will be interesting to see how things unfold.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, sources have confirmed that Arijit is turning a director but the involvement of T-Series with it is under doubts. "Yes Arijit will be turning director soon, he has been wanting to do so for some time now. However as for T-Series producing the film, Bhushan Kumar sir has not said anything of that sort", the source told.
