Arjun Bijlani: The most memorable Holi was with my son Ayaan last year. He was so excited to see people with colours on their faces. While we had played dry Holi, he played with the water gun for the first time. I still remember the smile on his face.

Message for fans: The colours of Holi carry the message of love, brotherhood and truth. so keep it dry and enjoy.

Aashka Goradia: My favourite Holi memory is when I would make water balloons with my cousins and burst them on each other. Looking at how people play Holi now, I avoid celebrations, which is being eco-friendly too. But, I’m excited to show Brent (my fiancee) how Holi is celebrated in India.

Message to fans: Follow a skin and hair care routine before stepping out of the house for Holi. Coconut oil is the best home remedy to avoid skin damage due to colours. Try using organic colours. Play Holi in a way that no one is bothered by your playfulness.

Vivek Dahiya: The last time I played Holi was probably when I was 18, because after that I moved out of my house. In the recent years, I haven’t really played. My earliest memory of Holi would be with my friends. There would be a riot of colours, splashing it on each other. Not just the friends, everyone in the vicinity would gather and enjoy the festival. I vividly remember that my mom used to make ‘Gur ka Dalia’, which would be sweet as well as filling.

Message to fans: Enjoy the festival and have fun because it’s not about looking good. Show off your monkey faces. Be naughty. Have fun but be safe .

Kritika Kamra: My first Holi in Mumbai was a working one and I didn’t have a car back then. I was going to the shoot in an auto, just about 100 metres before the shoot location on a traffic signal, someone threw a water balloon inside the rickshaw, there was no time to go back home and clean up, so I ended up going to shoot with colour all over me. Was very annoying at that time but now when I look back, it’s funny.

Message for fans: We have many options available in the market for gulaal now. We have organic colours that can be used to play Holi. Water can be used wisely and conservatively, after all Holi is all about good food, getting together with friends and family... making merry. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Holi.

Ssharad Malhotraa: The most memorable Holi is from my home town Kolkata. I celebrated with my college friends and I had tasted bhaang for the first time and in the pool, I kept saying that I am flying and I didn’t know what I was saying. It was only later that I came know what all I was saying.

Message for fans: Don’t let kids use thin plastic pouches as a substitute of balloons as they get clogged at the drainage.

Vivian Dsena: My most memorable Holi was in Ujjain where Holi is one of the biggest festivals. I drank 10 glasses of Thandai in one go and there was little bhaang also in it. I coloured everyone with dark colours and we did rain dance too on all Bollywood numbers. I get nostalgic each time my colony friends remind me about this.

Message for fans: It should be a dry Holi and one should not use oil paints as it harms hair and skin both.

Rohan Mehra: So this is around a decade ago, we had a ritual, a night before Holi, my sisters and cousins would all sait and filled up water balloons only to burst on each other on the day of Holi. But, we threw the balloons on our dad when he was leaving the house next day. Little did we know that he was going for a meeting. We had never seen him that angry before!!

Message for fans: Have a safe Holi and be careful. Use organic colours and careful towards animals.

Riddhi Dogra: My most memorable Holi was in Delhi with my college friends. We had gone to a friend’s farm house and had little bhang too. I don’t remember what I ate after that. My friends told me I had acted very funny and danced non stop. That was really embarrassing when I came to know from friends later.

Message for fans: Avoid using strong colours as skin gets damaged and one should play with organic/natural colours. Save water and save skin is my mantra. In Delhi, the advantage is every now knows each other in the colony unlike Mumbai.
