Arjun Kapoor Gearing Up For Another Chetan Bhagat’s Novel Based Film: Half Girlfriend

After 2 States, Arjun Kapoor is gearing up for another film based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel ‘Half Girlfriend’. The film will go on floors this year itself and will be shot at various locations such as Delhi, Bihar and New York. Rumour has it that Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in opposite Arjun.

Sushant Singh Rajput was the original choice of the makers but due to delay in shooting and his prior commitments, he opted out of the project and Arjun Kapoor was roped in. Confirming the news, the Gunjay star said, “I've committed to doing 'Half Girlfriend'. I am prepping for it for the next two and a half months and then start it”.

TOI quoted a source as saying, “Half Girlfriend' is a quintessential Bollywood love story about unrequited love in which the boy chases the girl across different countries over time. Arjun has several different looks in the film as he ages from a teenager to an aged founder of a school. He has been prepping up diligently”.
