    Arjun very happy with Ishaqzaades box office performance

    Mumbai -- Debutant Arjun Kapoor, son of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, is elated with the overwhelming critical acclaims and huge box office success of his film Ishqzaade. Though his co-star Parineeti Chopra has stolen the limelight with her brilliant performance, but Arjun has no qualms and he is very happy with the overall performance of Habib Faisals directorial venture. "I was telling Parineeti that even if the film gets a good opening, its fate is decided on Monday. Tuesday morning when I got Monday's collection, I felt really great," Arjun Kapoor told IANS. "Monday is a dead day... if early (Monday) morning youth are going for the film that means they have caught on to the film. The Monday collections were genuinely good. It showed only 36 percent fall. It was Rs.2.77 crore on Monday and Rs.2.64 crore on Tuesday so that's the sign that people are watching the film," he added. The movie was made at a budget of Rs.14.5 crore by Yash Raj Films and it has so far fetched Rs.23.66 crore. "I am a producer's son, so I understand numbers but that doesn't mean that only numbers matter... We have got a very positive feedback," the newcomer said about the positive response the film received from critics.
