With Ashmit in the fray, Riya opts to walk out

In an expected turn of events, actress Riya Sen who was apparently roped in by Rama Rama Kya Hai Ye Drama director Chandrakant Singh, opted to walk out after it was learnt that Ashmit Patel would also be acting in the film titled 6X.

According to the grapevine, the bong beauty agreed to come on board after narration. However when she learnt that her ex-flame Ashmit Patel will also star in one of the six stories in the film Riya immediately walked out of the project even though she didn't have any scenes with Ashmit.

Earlier in 2009, a leaked MMS clip had ended their relationship.

When contacted, the filmmaker admitted that Riya had taken a U-turn. "There are various reasons for her not coming on board, mainly date problems. We've already shot with Ashmit and Shweta Bharadwaj has replaced Riya," a dejected Chandrakant Singh said this while trying to do damage-control. Riya was not available for further comments.
