Ayushmann Khurrana is a heart-winner from his very beginning day in the industry for both his acting in his debut movie Vicky Donor as well as his singing prowess which he proved through the romantic number, Paani da rang. While talking to the media at a recent event he chose director Shoojit Sircar over Rohan Sippy as the former is the actor’s Godfather, according to Ayushmann himself.

Though Ayushmann has nothing to offer his fans this year as an actor, he has not at all disappointed his admirers by releasing a new single called O heeriye. He attended the pre-launch event of the song and he was looking hot in a casual white tee paired with an olive green jacket and mustard yellow pants. He shared his thoughts over releasing the new song, “After Pani da rang and Sadi gali everyone was asking when is your next song releasing and I said it will release with the next film, but my film is releasing only next year. So I thought of releasing a single in this time in between.”

His next venture will have Sonam Kapoor opposite him though the project has been kept under the wraps mostly. The actor too didn’t reveal much on the plot, “It’s a love story set during the time of recession. Sonam Kapoor plays my girlfriend and she’s the one who earns more than me. It’s a beautiful slice of life with three characters – Sonam, her onscreen father Rishi Kapoor and me.” When asked if he is getting into the production business or not Ayushmann said, “That’s not true. I am not getting into production. I’ve a long way to go. I’m not even getting into direction. I’m still learning how to act and sing.” While answering to some rapid-fire questions Ayushmann preferred director Shoojit Sircar over Rohan Sippy and said “he’s my Godfather”. Oh his next with Sircar, Hamara Bajaj, Ayushmann revealed, “We’ll be shooting that film next year. It’s about a tourist guide based in Agra who wants to be an actor.”
