Baahubali Animated Series To Be Aired On Colors

India’s highest grossing movie is all prepared to make its debut on the Indian television in the form of an animated series. Keeping in mind the success of the Baahubali franchise, entertainment channel Colors acquired the broadcast satellite rights to the animated series spin-off.

The animated version is titled as ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’. The animated series will feature fresh and indigenous stories of the Baahubali franchise. The storyline of the series will be full of intrigue, betrayal, war, action and adventure and will go beyond the movie storyline. The series will depict the events that groomed Baahubali from a young prince into a legendary hero and also reveal unknown secrets of the Baahubali world.

The animated series is created by S.S. Rajamouli, Sharad Devarajan and Arka Mediaworks, who are the producers, along with series lead writer, Ashwin Pande and Jeevan J. Kang, Graphic’s EVP Creative and the lead character designer. ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’ was earlier launched digitally on Amazon Prime Video and will soon be released through television on Colors.
