Bajirao Mastani Made Me Stronger, Wiser, Says Ranveer Singh

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films leave a great impact on the audiences and the same is expected from his much anticipated film, Bajirao Mastani. Ranveer Singh, who is playing 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao in the historical romance film, says that the flick has left a great impact on him. “Bajirao Mastani changed me a lot personally and professionally. It made me a stronger and wiser person”, said Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela star.

When IANS asked the Bollywood actor if he finds any similarities between his character Peshwa Bajirao and his real life, Ranveer said, “Bajirao ki life mein bahut drama hai (There’s a lot of drama in Bajirao’s life)”. About the hard work he has put in for the role, the Dil Dhadakne Do star said, “It was a very physically demanding film, so I worked hard for that ! Even acting was very tough for this film… I am really happy that I got this character”.

The Gunday star is excited and nervous at the same time about the film which is all set to hit the theatres on December 18. “I’m nervous about my film. Bhansali sir had been wanting to make this film since 12 to 15 years”, said Ranveer.
